Sophia Nguyen

As Technology Lead, Delivery, Sophia Nguyen defines the technical scope of projects and collaborates with developers, product, and project managers to help architect and build applications while ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality technical solutions. Sophia strives to build a more inclusive, sustainable developer culture where each member of her team feels heard and empowered.

Sophia’s career began as an educator and researcher in the sciences, where she taught and lectured to a wide range of students and audiences. She then worked as an Android developer at Blackberry and moved to frontend development at a data visualization start-up before joining Apply Digital. During her time here, she’s worked on several projects with clients, building web and mobile apps using React and React Native.

In her free time, Sophia can be found reading, playing music, and honing her green thumb with her ever-growing garden. Her favorite app is Too Good to Go, an app centered around reducing food waste.
